Let’s Help Others

Here in Florida, we get our share of dramatic weather, especially when it comes to tropical storms and hurricanes.  However, the last few days in Oklahoma have been shocking and horrific due to massive tornados.  Too many have lost everything, and for some that includes precious loved ones.  While I was inspired by several stories of people who obviously have a strong faith in God that they will recover, the road will be long. I remain inspired to pray hard for those hit and the communities that surround them.

When I respond to an e-mail sent to me at admin@redema.us, my closing is “To your comfort, Karen.”  That is my sincere hope: The Redema will bring a small amount of comfort to the purchaser or to the loved one it is purchased for.  A Redema may offer some support to those in Oklahoma, and if you are there or you would like to send one to a loved one there, contact me at admin@redema.us.

However, I would like to make a contribution to the Salvation Army, as they are statistically known for “Doing the Most Good” in service and recovery.  I will contribute $5 of each Redema order to the Salvation Army to be directed to those recovering in Oklahoma and if needed, other tornado-battered areas of the USA. I will tally contributions to the SA until May 26th.  Let’s help others however we can, so if you do not need a Redema, and you were here to just check it out, let me encourage you to contribute now to your favorite charity.  This is what we Americans do, right? 🙂  God Bless!
