You may have caught from my Twitter or Facebook posts that I went to the Little Ears Expo last Saturday, July 25th, which was sponsored by Z88.3, our local Christian radio station in the Central Florida area. We immediately ran into Tyler, one of the radio personalities there, as she was on break in the snack room area. She’s pregnant with her second child, and my son Ian offered one of our Redemas in tow to borrow to rest up for her presentation. Just before we left, we briefly met with Heart 2 Heart Birth Center, which can be found at www.h2hbirthcenter.com. Delightfully, I was invited to present sometime this fall at their center, and I can hardly wait. This group is very professional and caring, and I look forward to getting to know them and their services better.
All in all, the Little Ears Expo was a terrific event: Vendors of all kinds, generously sharing information and support to help moms get through the tough stuff a bit easier. My only sorrow is this event wasn’t around when I was pregnant with each of my guys! It was a pleasure to be there, and I look forward to next year’s event!
